How it works

Three steps from a training video to knowing what to fix in the next session.

1

You upload a video

A phone on a tripod by the table is enough. The video goes to your coach, and the system immediately counts strokes, speeds and the forehand-to-backhand split.

2

Your coach marks the moments

They click a specific stroke, write a note and rate the shot. You open the review and see exactly the second they are talking about.

3

You get a plan and a map

Those notes build a map of your shots — where you are strong, where opponents take you apart — and a training plan for the coming weeks.

See what you get

Pick who you are and click a feature — I will show a screen from the live service.

The system shows nobody your weak spots and nobody who pointed them out. We count opinions without names and without quotes — what is left is feedback for you, for your development.

Your ranking and rating

You have played for years and still do not know whether you are better than the guy from the hall down the road.

How it is today

Amateur table tennis has no single yardstick. Regional league results sit in one file, friendly games in a Facebook group, tournaments in a PDF nobody opens any more. Everyone has an opinion about who is better and nobody can put a number on it.

How it works in TTPro

TTPro calculates one ranking from the whole network of matches at once — World Table Tennis, regional leagues and amateur tournaments. Points are not given for showing up: your rating comes from who you beat and who beat you.

A win over a stronger player moves the number more than three wins over equals, and a loss to a weaker one hurts. The number of matches does not raise your rating — it raises the confidence with which we state it.

That is why an amateur from Wrocław and a league player stand on the same scale and can be compared, even though they have never played in the same competition.

A network of connections builds up between people and it does all the work. You played a friendly with Marek, Marek went to a tournament in Kraków, someone from Kraków plays league matches against a German. Every such match is a thread that ties your hall to the rest — and the more games, the denser the net and the more certain the numbers.

So you see where you stand not only in your own city, but in another one, and even in another country: the list covers 166 countries, and over 8 000 matches in which a Pole faced a foreign player stitch the Polish net to the rest. You do not have to play any of them to know where you are.

The same net shows you the road ahead: how many points separate you from your clubmate, from the top of your city, and from the level you have in mind. On Growth you check every month whether that distance is shrinking — and if it is not, that is a sign to change the training, not to play more of the same.

Field by field — and what comes out of it
Surname in the search box
We search word by word, so both “Jan Kowalski” and “Kowalski Jan” find the same person. The result shows the position, the rating and how many matches it was calculated from.
“See details” next to a name
Opens the last three matches with score, opponent and date. Without an account you see those three — with access, the full list.
Linking your account to a ranked player
After the purchase we attach your account to your name in the ranking database. From then on the panel sees your league and tournament matches by itself — you copy nothing by hand.
What the Growth plan gives you

On Growth (PLN 16 a month) you get your position, rating and every match it was calculated from. Growth does not include video uploads or hours with a coach.

  • 106 196 players on the list
  • Comparison with another city and another country on one scale
  • Position and rating without creating an account
  • The whole network is recalculated every morning

  • Points are not handed out for showing up — what counts is who you beat.
  • One win over a stronger player moves your rating more than three over equals.
  • Playing more matches raises the confidence in your result, not the rating itself.
  • Amateurs and league players sit in one network, so the numbers are comparable.

The machine counts, a human judges

Every video goes through an analysis that pulls numbers out of each rally. Your coach no longer loses half an hour scrubbing through footage — they get a ready list of strokes and write notes against exact seconds.

Stroke count

How many balls were played across the whole video.

Speed

Median and range, so it is clear when you slow down.

Forehand and backhand

The split of your strokes — usually the first proof of which wing you avoid.

Bounce sectors

Where the ball lands on the visible part of the table.

Timestamps

Click a stroke in the list and the video jumps straight to it.

What the analysis does not do

It does not measure spin, it catches only part of the ball flights, and it computes sectors on the visible part of the table only. Nothing is scored automatically — a shot rating appears when your coach enters it.

83 shots across three table maps

Instead of a list of scores you see the table in perspective with balls on it. The number is the shot rating, the size is confidence — how many opinions stand behind it — and the colour shows the trend from the last five outside notes.

Rally

Nine zones on your half — where the ball lands — and nine above the table, showing the distance you play from.

Serve

The opponent's half: short, half-long and long against their backhand, middle and forehand. You see the corner you never serve into.

Receive

Your half and the spots where opponents put their serve. That shows what they avoid, because avoiding it pays off for them.

Serve — where you place the ball on their side

Return — what you do with their serve

Ratings build up from your coach's notes and from opponents' opinions after matches. A stronger player's opinion weighs more — no names and no quotes, you simply see the state of your shots.

Coaching players? This tool is on your side

ttpro.fun does not replace the coach — it takes away scrubbing through videos, retyping notes and tracking who has hours left.

„Having the drills announced out loud is brilliant, because I don't have to look at my phone at the table. I took off one star because there are not many drills yet."

„Those three table maps are the best thing here — in one picture I can see that short to the backhand is a four for me, while long to the forehand is barely a two."
